dragons nest_d16_v1

done in 2012



with bamboo3 and artragepro3


done for the speedpaint challenge over at
da-speedpaint
theme was dragon´s nest


i came to the idea
that dragons might behave like birds do
as when predators come
they get off the nest
rather attacking and screaming elsewhere to distract the enemy
and by that protecting the nest itself


i think this is my best speed so far
i loved doing the mountains
and funnyly (???) the dragon´s nest looks best in the whole pic
thought id be even more simplistic here than i allread got
and yes the dragon looks more like an alien than a traditional dragon
but so what
